The Pestan Kruger Lodge is a country spa hotel set in lush landscaped gardens located on a savannah 150 metres from the Malelane Gate entrance to the spectacular Kuger National Park's. This two storey hotel features 74 air conditioned guestrooms, all of which include rustic decor, percale sheets and mahogany furnishings. All rooms provide mosquito repellent and insect spray, include safes, cable television, and open onto furnished balconies with garden or river views.
The Buhlebethu Restaurant and Eshonalanga Bar offers contemporary South African cuisine served in an informal setting with breathtaking views of the river and all its flora and fauna. Alternatively, an African bistro menu is served in a thatched bungalow elevated above a crocodile infested pool, appropriately named 'Crocafellas Restaurant'. Dishes typical of the region can also be served in traditional 'Boma' fashion alfresco, around a campfire. A revitalizing dip can be enjoyed in two outdoor pools while the Camelot Health Spa features an indoor pool, steam room, hydro bath, a relaxation area and massage treatment rooms. Table tennis, board games and quad biking can also be enjoyed. Conferences and seminars can be organized in the hotel's meeting rooms. Excursions and open vehicle safaris can be booked to see lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalo and giraffes in the Kruger National Park, while crocodiles can be viewed in Crocodile River. Parking is available free of charge and the nearest airport is Kruger Mpumalanga International (KMI) 45 minutes by car, or 57 kilometres from the hotel.
