Expert Tip. Originally built to serve as the corporate headquarters of one of South Africa's biggest jewelry stores, the Diamond House building was converted into the Cape Diamond Hotel in 2005.

From the airport, take the N2 to Cape Town.
Follow the N2, passing the M5 and M3 until the Strand Street turnoff.

Continue for two blocks until reaching Longmarket Street.
Turn left onto Longmarket Street.
