Location. The Ashley Hotel is a townhouse property located in the centre of Cork in southwest Ireland, one kilometre from the train station and eight kilometres from Blarney Castle. Cork Airport (ORK) is six kilometres away and takes approximately 15 minutes to reach by car.
Hotel Features. Guests can relax over drinks in the bar and staff on the 24 hour front desk can book tickets to attractions and organise airport transport (surcharge). A currency exchange and use of a safe deposit box is also offered at the front desk. Laundry facilities and complimentary parking are provided.
The Ashley Hotel's restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves traditional dishes such as roast dinners and steaks.
Guestrooms. The 27 guestrooms are individually decorated in a simple modern style and include cable television, desks with direct dial phones and coffee/tea makers. Private bathrooms feature shower/tub combinations and complimentary toiletries.
Expert Tip. Built nearly 600 years ago, Blarney Castle is one of Ireland's greatest landmarks. Kiss the Blarney Stone at the top of the tower and, legend has it, you'll never be lost for words again.

Getting there. There is a frequent bus service from the airport to the bus station in Parnell Place in Cork city centre. There is a taxi rank located outside the main terminal and a typical fare from the airport to the hotel is EUR 12 15.
