Location. The Electra Palace is a modern, six storey all inclusive hotel located just outside the village of Trianta on the island of Rhodes, situated opposite the beach and ten kilometres from Rhodes' Old Town. Diagoras Airport is 6.5 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of ten minutes.
Hotel Features. The Electra Palace's health and relaxation facilities include a fitness room, Turkish bath and sauna, and a range of therapeutic massage and beauty treatments are also available. The hotel also has its own private beach and an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by terraces dotted with sun beds and umbrellas. The three bars serve a wide selection of drinks and cocktails and host live entertainment, including daily shows and live music. A separate pool is provided for children, along with a playground and mini club. Practical amenities include a 24 hour front desk, public Internet access and a concierge on hand to help plan sightseeing excursions. Motorists will find complimentary parking on site.
The Electra Palace features three restaurants: the Grant serves international dishes in an Art Deco setting, with show cooking and theme nights; the Italian Flair offers Italian favourites in modern surroundings; and the Polynesian serves a selection of Chinese and Thai dishes.
Onsite recreational facilities include tennis and volleyball courts.
Guestrooms. The 299 guestrooms over six floors feature modern decor with matching fabrics and polished dark wood furnishings. All open onto balconies and include cable television, high speed Internet connections, direct dial phones, minibars and coffee/tea makers. Bathrooms include shower/tub combinations, robes and complimentary toiletries.
Expert Tip. Rhodes town dates back to 408 BC and is surrounded by medieval high stone walls with seven gates. The Old Town is a maze of beautifully preserved cobbled streets and alleyways, and points of interest include the Archaeological Museum and the Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of St John.
